What is Bass Center Frequency and what is the best setting for car audio?
Ata asked the question:
I have an Alpine IVA-W200 in my car along with a complete Alpine Type-R setup (12′ Sub in the rear). I was wondering what the Bass Center Frequency setting does and what would be a good setting for the best bass / audio.

You are probably going to notice that your best performance is going to be at about 70-80Hz. The speaker will play outside this range but this is the optimum frequency for a 12 inch sub. The Hz are basically how many times per second the speaker travels in and out. 15 inch subs generally are best at 55-65Hz etc.. Hope I have been helpful
